OUR PROJECTS
This group is for Hernando County residents to share ideas and tips for the homesteading community. We can all do our part to lesson the environmental and economic impacts of our families consumption. Changing our habits, upcycling, protecting our families and property, growing food, trading goods, raising livestock, pioneer practices, and lessening our footprint.

Some call us preppers, pioneer people, environmentalists, and other terms but we call ourselves self reliant, self sustainers, and hard workers.

No negative comments or degrading others opinions will be tolerated and those comments will be removed by admins asap. A ritual offender will be removed from the group. Be kind and learn from each other. Remember everyone’s individual situation and approach is unique. No selling products unless they are relevant to the group. No advertising your business unless it is relevant to the group and keep it to Mondays only.
Awareness Events
We provide awareness and educational activities to promote homesteading in our local community and beyond. We offer free activities to keep the public engaged in gardening, lowering consumption, protecting pollinators, canning, planting native, unpapering, and more. We try to provide free plants and seeds at these events.

We have set up tables at community events with The Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce, Wellcome Om Center, and more. In addition, providing free giveaways and raffle baskets for community events helps to promote our mission.
Contact April at info@justsourceit.org to book your next event.
