April Johnson-Spence

April Johnson-Spence is your local advocate and community champion.  As a sales and marketing professional she connects the community to help make the community stronger. Being an active community member she gets to participate in many different groups serving the community at large. As Past Brooksville Rotary President, HCCA Past Chair, Familia de Gladiatores Krewe Founder and Past Director, PHSC Alumni, Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce Leadership Alumni (2016 best class ever), Precinct Women for the Hernando County Republican Executive Committee, member of Business and Professional Women of Hernando County, Member of 100 Women Who Care Nature Coast, and mother to 4 wonderful children, April has been able to establish deep roots in Hernando County. Her experience as a business owner, working with non profits and for profit businesses has led to a vast collection of tools that can be used to transform any business. A focus on networking, building relationships, fund development, and branding can help support growth and structure within all businesses ranging from start ups to stagnant businesses.

April is most known for her out of the box approach to problem solving.  She brings a fresh perspective to all conversations and offers practical solutions to move the problem forward to a practical solution. Her willingness to help her community thrive helps to keep others moving in a positive direction.
